Samhain

Do you believe in magick?

Do you really believe?

Everything within us and around us is so absolutely, wonderfully rare.

What a beautiful world we are woven into, it’s hard not to believe..

Oh and what a season.

We meet it again on the wheel, spiraling about..

The cool crisp autumn air.

The children cackling in the moonlight.

The clothes that we play and dance in on these hallow nights that allow us to be and feel into someone else, something else, for just a short while…

Or maybe not a short while..

What if our costumes could be their very own spell? Is there something we could call in during this potent time?

The witches new year.

What can we call in? Perhaps there’s a way to utilize the magick of dress and garment and character play that can shift and transform the way we move through the next wheel of the year..

That thinning veil is tangible now, too.

We can feel it in the breeze.

As if we whispered sweet loving words on the wind, it would carry those words across worlds, to someone or something we’ve loved.. just on the other side.

An ancestor. Or perhaps a tree we’ve known. Or a past version of ourselves.

Who can we whisper to on these days of the dead?

We can honor all that came before us and send our gratitude through time and space.

And so it is, that we walk thru this world, in awe and appreciation toward all directions, to all that came before us, to those we leave behind. To those who walked and tended these lands before us. May you be well. May you be free from suffering and the root of all suffering. May all beings be happy and free.

Blessed be.

Blessed Samhain.

Blessed new year.
